Please download a browser that supports JavaScript, or enable it if it's disabled i. My Opera browser keeps crashing randomly, usually 1 or 2 minutes after opening it. I don't know why it is happening. Can someone help me?
Is it a virus? I can't use this browser because of this. What OS? However, when I checked for the version; Opera tells : An error occurred while checking for updates. This does look like a memory leak. However, normally when a process is terminated the OS should release all its memory allocations.
So it's not clear to me what exactly is going on with Chrome. I'm assuming you're running the latest version of Chrome. Are you running any extensions? PolarNettles, May 28, Installing Chrome extensions in Opera I used to be able to install Chrome extensions in Opera directly from the Chrome extensions store with an extension called "install Chrome extensions".
Now I can't install extensions for some reason. The current extensions I previous installed update okay and run fine.
Trying to find a solution, I came across several articles from last year saying that starting with Opera 55 beta, Opera would automatically allow you to install Chrome extensions without needing that additional extension. But Opera isn't letting me do that. All the extensions on Chrome's store say "available for Chrome" with no install link. Opera is up to date. Has something changed I don't know about? I have this same problem and neither a clean profile nor clean reinstall fixed it. Opera works fine on another computer running the same Windows 10 version , though. I didn't make a new profile per se, but I did delete those folders before the re-install, which should be equivalent?
Same problem, I'm not flattered with Opera anymore, any update gets worst, they remove features I like and I'm seriuosly thinking on move out to Egde. Edge is even worse. Vivaldi could be the alternative, but it is slower than Opera excluding Opera I have exactly the same problem. Got this problem after updating to latest windows and latest opera.
Opera just randomly close itself after being opened about minute and there is no error. I also have ryzen processor maybe that is the cause. On my laptop with Intel processor everything is working fine.
However opera GX is working without any problem. The same applies to Opera 67 that I have downgraded to. So I guess I'm not the only one with this problem. Pawemol12 i have intel and it crash too.
